I’ve been really excited to get more than exactly 60 minutes per day in the sewing room this weekend – starting and finishing a project on the same day seems to be pretty rare with a 4.5-month-old who hates naps!

For Day 7, I made the Ava dress from Lily Bird Studio.

I love digital patterns because I hate tracing patterns.  This pattern was awesome, by the way.  The instructions were clear, and it was such a fast project!

I still need to put buttons on it – I didn’t have any I loved in my stash.  Here’s the [almost] finished product:

The outside fabric is flannel, and the lining is cotton.  I was limited by what was already washed in my stash since I decided to make this dress approximately 15 minutes before starting it…luckily I found things that coordinated nicely!
